The dinner costs £24.50 p/p and seating is at 7pm. Please book by Wednesday 14th February, either by filling in the form in the newsletter or by emailing Sally. See newsletter for e-mail address or use the contacts page here.

There’s at least one 8-seater taxi setting off from the dump at midday and returning at midnight for a cost of £18.25 (return). There’s limited places, so you’ll need to confirm there is space available and pay to guarantee your place. Alternatively you can book accommodation at Crooklands (tel: 015395 67432).

Dinner Menu

Starters

Chicken Liver & Wild Mushroom Terrine with onion marmalade and oat cakes

Homemade Cream of Vegetable Soup sprinkled with chives

Prawn and Smoked Mackerel Cocktail bound in Marie rose sauce

Creamy Garlic Mushrooms – Sautéed mushrooms with herbs, garlic and cream, served on garlic bread

 

Main Courses

Steamed Fillet of Scottish Salmon with a lemon and tarragon cream sauce

Roast Topside of South Lakeland Beef served with a Yorkshire pudding

Slow Roasted Pork Tenderloin served with a wholegrain mustard and mushroom sauce

Cumbrian Bred Turkey with all the Trimmings

Spinach and Ricotta Lasagne served with garlic bread

All main courses are accompanied with a selection of fresh market vegetables and potatoes.
